Re: Free marriage records on Ancestry.com

Not sure if any of you are aware but Family search will now scan in and email you a copy of the certificates if you have the correct film number (they won't search for you). I've done this and it was a very fast service (free), for a relatives marriage in New York in 1926.: https://familysearch.org/...

Re: STUCK!! with my family tree

Hi Did she have a middle name and use that? I've been doing my tree for a while and some people are a mystery, I have sometimes found that for some reason some people have been recorded by their middle name first, also sometimes surnames have been mis-spelt or wrongly input when transcribed to the w...

Re: Who has an e reader

I have an ereader its a Kobo Touch - same as the Kindle Touch. Originally they were only available from WHSmith but I see other shops are selling them too, lot cheaper as well. Really love it and use it a lot. You can also borrow ebooks from my local library, you can't do this on a Kindle. Mine is v...

Re: Knitting pattern for Kobo ereader

Thanks Kath yes it would be good to have a more sturdy cover when taking it out and about but for now it will just be in the house so more of a dust type cover thing I suppose! Carolyn it would be great if you do have the pattern for that one it's lovely, but don't go to too much trouble, thanks for...

Knitting pattern for Kobo ereader

Hi I've just become the proud owner of a Kobo ereader - love it (especially the fact I can borrow ebooks from my local library now). I'm in need of a cover and thought I would knit one but having looked on the internet I can't find a free pattern that would be suitable - wondered if anybody c...

Re: Union jack cakes

It's probably too late now but I got some cake discs from ebay for my daughters birthday cupcakes. They were printed with edible ink and on some sort of rice paper? When I last looked they seemed to be almost any characters available and wouldn't be surprised if somebodys done some union jacks? You ...

Re: Chocolate wrapper template.

Good luck with the wrappers. I decided one year that instead of party bags I would buy a little gift and the children could have a lucky dip. (It was a football party and they all were given medals). When everyone had got a gift and a bit of cake one child said "Wheres my party bag?" I ex...

Re: Chocolate wrapper template.

Thanks all for your replies, I didn't think of decorating a plain one with diecuts  , could print their names and add too, thanks. Those links look great too. The children will all be around the age of 7, I've just ordered some Hello Kitty beads from ebay (really cheap) so Hollie and I can mak...

Chocolate wrapper template.

Hi it's coming up to my daughters birthday party and I've seen the bars of chocolate on ebay in personalised wrappers, wondered if anybody knew how they were done? I know they must be really easy to do but I'm not that computer clever  to make my own so was hoping to find a template!, I've been...

Have you tried the official Peppa website?:

http://www.peppapig.com/

or Nick junior:

Hopefully you may find something of help on those.

My daughter is a big fan so will see if I have any pics.
