Re: Destashing the craft suppies

I didn't really set out to sell them Kath, but I have sold the two cat bags in the photos above - a friend claimed them before I'd even started the second one :) I'm happy to sell them if anyone is interested (much as I love bags I already have far too many!). I have a couple of this size bags with ...

Destashing the craft suppies

I have been hard at work destashing some of craft supplies either left over from other projects or bought "just because". I've done large and small bags with a variety of designs but these are the last three I've done. I've just started another one of the sleeping cat design in variegated ...

Re: A bit of this and that!

You've been very busy Adele.

I have sewing up knitted pieces - despite the fact I'm a needlewoman and can work with fabric and embroidery I can't get stitching up knitted pieces right!

Re: Craft time

Sorry, I've been busy all weekend and just catching up with things. Glad to hear the craft session went OK and that some money was raised.

Re: Wedding Invites.

That is sad news Adele. It sounds like one of nature's not so rare miracles is needed here.

Sending wishes for a rapid improvement in the situation.

Re: Circular needles

I've never had a problem with circular needles breaking. All of mine are Milward - most inherited from my Mother - and have been in use for many years. I used one recently to make myself a waistcoat in aran weight wool and am about to use another to make myself a 4 ply cardigan (not sure I've got en...

Re: Some cards

I'm not usually keen on bunting, but your mini bunting on the flower card is fab! It's finishes the card very nicely. I like the others too.

Re: Where are you?

Glad to hear you're feeling better Hazel - apart from the bump on the head! I hope John is soon recovered, he's had more than his fair share of ill health and it's time you were both well at the same time. :)

Re: Where are you?

I'm busy making gift boxes from used Christmas cards. I was asked last November by someone about making some boxes for the wedding favours at her wedding this coming October. I said I would contact her in January to discuss details, which I did. Silly girl took herself out of a GCSE English class to...

Re: Ikea trolley

That looks so well organised Melis. I wish I could get my stuff sorted and stored sensibly - at the moment I've got stuff in at least 4 different rooms (upstairs and downstairs), all sorts of units and boxes and I'm sure I don't remember well over half of what I do have.

Re: Vintage embroidery, linens and crochet

I have a big boxful of table linens in addition to those I have in my general use drawers. They are all family pieces - my Mother was a superb embroideress, and I had aunts who were very skilled in various needlecrafts. Mother inherited a lot of pieces and kept them all. I've passed on some to peopl...
