Re: angel policy and copyright question

On SCS they say you need the permission from the individual designers to use Stamps Happen stamps for cards you sell. I got rid of most of my Inkadinkado stamps because they wouldn't give me permission - and I know it is unlikely they would find out unless I sold them online, but I also feel that no...

Re: angel policy and copyright question

Well Docrafts say you can make with any of their products, but with licenced characters you have to be so careful. Disney is one to avoid!

Re:

Does anyone know of anyone whose been reprimanded by any of the stamp companies for breaching copyright? Someone contacted me (you can see the comment left on my angel policy page on my blog) to warn me that they had been reported to Hallmark for using DoCraft images. They were asked to take down t...

Re: angel policy and copyright question

I have just bought a Stamps happen stamp and the design is by Julia Hawkins. The angel policy for Stamps happen is: ANGEL POLICY: The only angel images are those designed by: Karen Mohr, Mildred Wyatt, Linda Grayson, Audrey Jeanne Roberts, and Nancy Cole. Most of our designers have copyright restri...

That is so funny! :roflmao: :roflmao: :clapclap: :clapclap: Our WH Smiths has very little in the way of craft stuff but they do have art supplies, which seem aimed at school children. The one in Bath is much bigger and has more.

Re: Beer mats

I suppose you could cut them with the Robo, would need to stick a few together to get the thickness.

I second that! All we get is DoCrafts demos and they aren't up to much locally, small desk in corner of small shop and attracting the local great unwashed.

Re: Storing Nesties

I think with the knife racks the other dies would fall off if they are stored in sets, the hooks seem better, you can unhook one without the rest falling off better I would think, or take the lot off and take out the one you want, not that I am likely to end up doing that. :duck: :duck: I was wonder...

Re: Storing Nesties

I was looking at my DVD cases and they all have a mounted bit in the back, which isn't removable so they are not the same ones the American lady was using. I know CD cases often used to have that bit separate so you could remove it, but not my cases so they are going in the charity bag.

Re: Storing Nesties

Oh I was going to try that Shelagh, I wonder if the magnetic sheet is stronger than the tape? I could try one, and I do know what you mean, one part on each side sounds good. The ones I saw were the long black cases, not the square clear ones. I think I have one I can try it with. I suppose if they ...

Re: Storing Nesties

That is a good idea. So far I have tried making a picture from an idea on a blog, covered it in magnetic rubber then pretty paper and hang it on the wall, looks amazing but try getting off one die without the rest falling off down the back of everything! Also some Nestie sets sort of overlap so no w...
