Re: Infinity Scarf

I have no idea - they are all just 5 m remnants on the market for £5, I think the pinks must be some kind of viscose, the other one said "verdi woolly fabric especially made for alitan made in Japan" tried searching but to no avail. it is fabulous fabric though and have kept one for myself.

Re: tablet stand

I saw the sewing quarter video - hers were square, not sure I thought that is the right shape.

I used polystyrene beads so really light.

Re: tablet stand

I have a piece of fabric 22 x 15 fold in half so 11 X 15 sew along the 11 inch and then down the 15 inch - I leave a gap in this bit as I have the seam underneath - just an inch from the top as you will use to fill. I also put a ribbon loop about an inch into the 11 inch - I use this for hanging it ...

It was soooo hot in Canada - as hot as Florida! so we kind of did more sitting around than we had planned, so watch...

I bought a yoghurt pudding from Aldi recently in a little glass jar, with a reusable plastic lid, it is all nice and clean and perfect for buttons etc...might be an idea for craft room storage.

Re: Narrowboating

Sounds lovely - what was the weather like.

We have just got back from Canada - we went to Peterborough and watched the liftlock - that cuts out loads of locks - you need to campaign for some of those!
