Re: Quick Mix Cake

<Bump>

I was looking back at some of Carol's old posts since hearing the terribly sad news, and found this recipe too.

Re: Mother's Day/ Mothering Sunday

Thanks Hazel. Totally going off topic here... how often and for how long do you suggest? Am thinking of setting up a permanent arrangement. Is yours every 2 weeks or 3 weeks? Thanks :)

Re: Mother's Day/ Mothering Sunday

Quick question about Mother's Day...

If I pay for a gardener to come to mums to sort out her garden, is it too early in the year to book for gardening? Cutting the grass? Or should I book him for April instead?

Thanks :)

Re: Ergo Teething pads

I have the Ergo baby carrier, it's fab! Still put Mylo in it now at 18 months. I too bought the teething pads, but to be honest they were a waste of money and I only used them a few times. I ended up switching them to use on the stroller as padding for the shoulder straps for winter. Great job on ma...

Re: Butternut squash

We cook it a lot, sometimes Acorn squash too. We microwave it 1st for 2 mins so it's easier to slice. Then we cut it in wedges and roast in the oven anytime we're cooking other oven dishes and have the oven on anyways. It's good sprinkled with olive oil and a little brown sugar, because it caramelis...

Bind It All 'Binding Buddy' - what do you think?

I got an e-mail about the pre-release of the binding buddy, which enables you to bind more than 6 coils at a time.

What do you think of it?

Re: Suggestions for plastic cartons that washing tabs come

My mum has them on a top shelp in her kitchen cupboard. One has 1st aid stuff in, another has tapes and blue tack, another candles, etc. They seem to fit perfectly, about 5 across I think she uses.

Re: Printers, Inks & systems

I have a wireless HP printer. I get my cartridges refilled at the mall. It's been fine for the past 6 or so refills, but this week it's started to print with lines across. I think after a while you have to buy new ink cartridges again, because the contact parts wear out (??) . So I have to take the ...

Re: Help - display advice please

Looks fab!! Well done! Love all the different heights and how you have things up nearer to eye level. All I can think to add is a handheld mirror the customers can pick up, or a framed mirror placed on the table. For some shows I used a mirror with a handle, from a dollar store, and if I had more ro...

Help needed on recycle art contest - what should I make?????

There's a contest happenning here for reuse art, where the grand prize is $1400!!!! They extended the deadline to June 23rd, presumably because they don't have many entries. I'm thinking I'd like to enter, but have no idea what to make. Here's the list of materials you can make stuff from: http://ww...

Re: double sided tape dispenser

does your double sided tape not already come on a dispenser? Ours looks like this and I get it for around $2.50 a roll at Walmart. It doesn't have a 'liner' on it like the UK stuff seems to have....
