Re: Chilli Pickle Recipe

Hey, that sounds like a great recipe. Quite a lot of ingredients, though, so it might take a while to get all of them, but will certainly try to try it :D

Re: Crochet links

Mmmm, very nice and useful links there, too bad I still haven't found any yarn to do any crochet with :D Will probably pick up the hook 2 months from now and have no idea what to do lol. This is one of my favourite ones, I've done it in dark purple, light purple and yellow: http://www.naturallycaron...

Re: New bracelet

This is a lovely bracelet, Carolyn. I should take some time and do some jewerly myself, but that brings me to the question of finding wool to make them with and some pieces, like clips and things to put them together. Oh, I need to get paid and go on a shopping trip!!!

Re: New scarf yarns

I've been looking for some yarn around Berlin, cause that's where I am atm and I brough my crochet hook, but forgot any wool  Clever girl... I like doing little pieces of things when I'm travelling abroad, on the train for instance (pity they won't let me bring my hook on the plane), so I can'...

Re: Damsons

Mmm, I love damsons. We used to have a tree next to our house and were using them for pretty much everything - jam, juice, conserved fruit, cakes, cookies, whatever comes into your head. But then our neighbour decided to cut it down, cause it was 'in his way' and he couldn't park his van in his driv...

Re: Apples!

Mmm, I love jelly. My grandma does it with apples and quinces and it turns b***** perfect! Always use that for pancakes, croissants and all kinds of dough-related breakfast items, really :) My grandma usually makes these for breakfast, it's kind of dough made with eggs, youghurt and yeast and then i...

Re: Courgettes - what do you do with them

I've never had ratatouille (I only know this http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0382932 :D). Sounds delicious, though. I think it will go perfectly with a piece of nice roasted garlic bread mmmm. Getting really hungry right now. *A bit outside of the courgette topic, could it be made with something else in...

Re: boot sale/charity shop bargains

I am in Berlin right now and have been trying to get to one of the huge flea markets they have (like this one ), but its either b***** raining or I have something else to do. I've never been to a car boot sale, but went to some craft fairs and have to say, I can't help not spending. I only allow mys...

Re: Courgettes - what do you do with them

Yeah, I don't like courgettes either, except in one of my grandma's recipes. She gets some of the bigger ones, takes off the top and scrapes the inside, so that they could be filled, and while they're staying there, she makes a filling with the courgette inside, rise, peppers and some minced meat, t...
