Re: March 2015 crafty to do list

Might actually manage to make a couple of mother's day cards...  Done. Was going to take photos, but as usual they were in the post before I remembered. They both have birthdays in the next fortnight, so will try harder with them!

Re: March 2015 TTC

Failed miserably to do anything last month. I'm so out of the way of card-making. Not sure I can make any retro jewellery, but will have a think....

What a cool idea Liz. Did you have a pattern or just make it up?

Hi there, nice to see you back.
My crafting is a bit erratic now to say the least. Bursts of jewellery and the odd card

Re: Ideas for Christmas day please!

We will be having canapes (sounds dead posh - any other time it's just finger food  ) Only 4 of us on Christmas day, so smoked salmon (or smoked mackerel pate for my dad) on blinis or oatcakes. We tend to concentrate on the main course - turkey, roasties, stuffing, pigs in blankets, parsnips, c...

Re: Silhouette cutting files

Not used my Robo in yonks :o Not really been making cards though and when I do I've been using stuff I already had cut.
Must get back into it in 2015....

Re: 2014 book review

I recently re-read Sunset Song by Lewis Grassic Gibbon for the third time as I was going to see it at the theatre. I was amazed how much of it I had forgotten. Going to re-read the second and third of the trilogy now. In the summer they were shooting part of a new film of it near here. Look forward ...

Re: Anti static

You can buy Fuller's Earth in pharmacies. Well you used to be able to - they may not all stock it these days, but should be able to order it.

Sounds like a reasonable profit for you if they are really quick, and nobody could complain at that price!

Thanks :)
The orangey one is more red actually (bad photo  ) The stripey beads are proper red and the others range in shades from red to orange.

Re: more arm knitted scarves

Like! How much do you sell them for? (if you don't mind me asking). I was sitting next to 2 retired ladies today who had a knitwear stall and were seriously undercharging for their stuff. I bought a lovely Arran cardi from my great-nephew; his mum and granny both knit lots but don't do Arran so it w...

Jewellery makes

Well sales today at my local craft fair were modest, but here are a couple of things I made for it. Photos are totally rubbish as I realised after I had taken them all that the camera was on all the wrong settings (didn't check first  ). I will re-take them if I decide to try to sell some via ...
