Smoke alarm testing!

Postby Melis » Sat Aug 12, 2017 4:57 pm

Last week I gained some extra brownie points as I located some lost paperwork that was very important. Anyway, this week I have spent all of those points and probably some more. Unbeknown to me, the oven at work had lots of fat on the bottom (from the 12" sausage rolls) and when I opened the door, a big plume of smoke came wafting out. The extractor fan has been suffering from asthma for weeks and couldn't cope so the smoke alarm went off. Even though it was known what caused the alarm, the store had to be evacuated.

When I got into work yesterday, some of my colleagues were singing 'Postman Pat' to me. When I asked them why, they said it was because they couldn't remember the theme tune to Fireman Sam!! :roflmao:
