I ended up in hospital yesterday afternoon for an unexpected op in the early hours of this morning so I haven't got started :-( Hopefully I'll manage one or two before Fri if I can stay awake & stand up for long enough!

sorry to hear that Rachel, hope you're back on top soon. Take care of yourself , your health is more important than the challenges..

Oh Rachel, so sorry to hear about the emergency op - please take care of yourself.

Hope you have a good evening, H - look forward to hearing from you later! - and yes, we need to see a picture of you in the dress.

Love Hazel

Rachel - hope you are feeling better soon
Have a great time tonight H.
Everything is looking great so far and lots of people have been busy!
I've only managed 2 challenges so far (well I've started a third and waiting for inspiration :D ), but now I have to go and watch some more rugby!

Ellens Coaster

Postby artyfartymacksmum » Sat Nov 08, 2008 5:31 pm

Dear Ellen

Lovely coaster, it looks just like something you would buy new in the shop.
I am very new to this challenge lark & will be having a go.
Excuse my ignorance, but what is Modge Podge? I could ask my daughter Artyfartymack, but thought I should try to be a bit more independent]

Bless ya Mother!! I'm sure Ellen will see your comments, but post them in the coaster thread next time LOL!

Modge Podge is a clear varnish like stuff. I have the sparkly one. You might have seen me paint over stuff to make it glitter and be sealed. If you make a coaster you can always water down the PVA glue I gave you and it will do the same thing.

Hope you've been busy crafting all afternoon, I'm waiting patiently for your photos to upload!

dear artymum
I see your daughter has answered your question already . I regard it as a glue that also works as a sealant. I first used it for doing napkintechnique ( talking 10 or more years ago now :o )

great you're jumping in with both feet :)

I did read the 'rules' Carolyn but I'm so forgetful that by the time I'd read a few posts and peeps seemed to be doing the challenges almost immediately I'd forgotten :-?
