Not sure whether they are annuals but they seed themselves once they are established and there after grow every year. Would you like some seeds,Carolyn?

That would be lovely - I am sure I can find a home for them somewhere - I will have a look and see when I need to sow them :)

They looks really lovely Kath. Could I also request some seeds please .. My dad has recently been given a bit of 'garden' at his new place - extra to his little 'patio' space outside his back door, some seeds would be lovely to start him off.
TIA
Carole

Glad they arrived safely, Carole. I was late sending them because it was so wet and they are better collected when dry.

Just thought I would let you know Kath - my dad sowed the Marigold seeds you ever so kindly sent  in a large trough - and little seedlings have already appeared :??: Did he plant them too early?
Oh and I have blossom on my cherry tree - what is going on :??:

No i think they will be fine, Carole. Left to themseleves they shed their seeds at the right time for germination. They will grow into sturdy plants to flower in the spring ...and summer....and Autumn.

Just been out to look, Carole and I have seedlings popping up amongst the marigolds too.

Re your cherry tree...that is early to bud but our lemon tree is budding too!

Thanxs ever so Kath for the info. :) I will let my dad know - he is a very experienced gardner but was surprised at the sprouting of the seeds so early.
Heard today that we are in for a spell of very cold weather over the coming week - maybe this will put nature back into balance :??:
