I made a potting bench.

We crafters enjoy a bit of gardening...so anything to do with the garden goes here!

I made a potting bench.

Postby Calv » Mon May 23, 2011 11:58 am

Look what i made yesterday from a used wooden pallet....

Not bad for a couple of hours work, gives me and the kids a nice space to pot plants and deal with seeds and things.

Full story on my blog if you're interested. :)

PS: Forgot to say, it also has potential for 12 x 12 storage.

Splendid piece of work Calv. Stephen made me one and I use it all the time. It will save a lot of bending too!

(Think you might have to move it for your 12x12 storage though!) :roflmao:

Cheers :)

Thats one of the reasons i made it, i have a slipped spine and it kills to mess about with pots full of soil too much. I actualy made this a little too high, so will be adjusting it a little, but it definately saves a lot of bending like you say.

Good tip about the 12 x 12's :)

That's really good Calv. Very impressed.

It would take me days to make something like that (if I even could do it)!

That's very cool - vertical gardening is the way to go apparently!
