Is it Spring?

Postby Anne » Sat Jan 07, 2012 5:32 pm

The bulbs are coming through and I mowed my lawn today

The grass was getting quite high and the clover was looking lush. I expect now we will get snow and cold weather

Goodness. I haven't cut the grass for a while. If it snows we shall know who to blame!! With you cutting your grass and Liz buying a snow shovel we've got no chance!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :roflmao: :roflmao: :roflmao:

I shall have a look tomorrow to see if any bulbs are coming up but I have to say we have had wallflowers blooming for a week or two now!

Well our clover and shamrock in the lawn are no where to be seen.... however the clump of wheat and barley under the bird feeder is doing well. I've still got geraniums out and three roses have flowered! My friends rhododendron has already flowered before Christmas!
If you don't know what to do with new stuff, hide it until you do!

I still have a gazania flowering I thought hey were only annuals!

Very wet here today - so couldn't have mowed the lawn - but I reckon it could do with it!

Daff bulbs are up and first snowdrops are out, but campanulas have also started to flower and the big white daisy things (whose name escapes me right now) have never stopped flowering!
Oh and the globe thistle has sprouted a couple of stems which have flower heads on them :-?
