colander...for a pot

colander...for a pot

I bought a colander on MK market this week for 50p it is deep like this one

and pale pink - it was marked.

I thought it would make a good plant pot....

Might there be a bit too much drainage in it? You could easily pop some polythene in it though. A great idea for something different.
If you don't know what to do with new stuff, hide it until you do!

I'd keep it! I think some little trailing plants tumbling over the edges would be really pretty.

I did the same with a colander that didn't drain very well for it's original purpose. It looks good as a plant pot.
