Reminds me of when the children used to be little. Used to do mash & veg in ice cube trays for baby food.
I did start buying frozen mash as it was easier, but bought a electric potato peeler so am back to making proper mash. I do use my kenwood style mixer with the k beater in to mash it, makes lovely mash. I also throw in a couple of cloves of garlic while spuds are boiling to make garlic mash.
Had thought about refreezing mine to recently as often make to much, but tends to jsut go in the fridge for the next day if I do.
Reminds me some say use a old style icecream scoop to make muffins. easier to put the mix in the cases. I don't have a old ice scream scoop though, the type that you squeeze & the curved bar swings round inside to release it.
