Iced coffee

Postby Carolyn » Thu Jul 31, 2014 10:43 am

I am getting into iced coffee and have started making it myself by 'cold brewing' coffee in the cafetiere overnight and then using it diluted with water, ice and milk. There seems to be lots of 'thoughts' on how to make it on the internet, folks seem to think that this was the best method.

I'd always thought it would be made with coffee that was left to go cold, but not given it much thought as I know I wouldn't actually like it
Have you tried other ways?

no not tried it any other way. I didn't think I would like iced coffee until I tried it on holiday last year, and found it quite refreshing - it does have to be ice cold for me.

I am pretty sure they made it with expresso coffee from a machine and then blended with ice.

I'm just not sure it would work with black coffee, but maybe I'm wrong :daze:
