Poncho knitting pattern help

Postby Deb-Bee » Wed Feb 18, 2015 7:29 am

Hi, I have the lidl wool for making a poncho, could someone please explain what the instructions mean when they say work 1 x2 sts, in the next row 20 1 x 2 sts, in the next row 14 1 x 2 sts?
I really am stuck on how to follow this?
Thank you

Hi and welcome to the forum

I think it must be telling you to increase the stitches, would this be right? ANd they are telling you how many stitches to do 2 stitches into. But have to say I am not sure.

How may stitches have you got on your needles at the moment?

Hello and welcome!

Is there any way of showing us the pattern and or design? Could you scan or photograph the section of pattern?

Welcome to the forum.

I am no good at answering knitting problems, but I am sure someone here will be able to help.
