Review of The twelve Days of Christmas.

Sue has very kindly instituted a new thread to give us some fun over the Christmas period. It hasn't got further than the third day and most of the members appear to be rolling on the floor. It is not known whether these members will recover sufficiently to join in. Some of the members have a very strange pallor denoting that rescusitation may be required.

What do you think? Is Liz on a roll? Or does she just have too much time on her hands today?

Here is the late evening weather update.

Earlier freezing fog has lifted but road conditions are still hazardous. Snow has compacted to ice and the sub zero temperatures are making conditions worse. Drivers are showing a total disregard of the conditions; they are either daredevil or desparate to get to their destinations.

My news is short and sweet but as I looked at some pics I'd taken today and thought of my head-line.

Man goes mad in Lordswood!

Image

After yet another snowy day in Lordswood, Kent, a man goes mad brandishing a broomstick at icicles. We spoke to the man who told us he was trying to clear his conservatory roof from the heavy snow. He later seemed cool, orderly and calm but his wife said at times she thought he had cracked under the pressure. It looked like a tall order and eventually the man gave up.

Thanks Sue ..... that was great fun and I enjoyed the time doing it. I had walked to Sainsbury's, gone for a long walk in the woods nearby with my camera, cleaned the house (with DH's help), been to choir practice, cooked meals and written all the Christmas cards ............. and found time to finish a scarf for Kids Company and keep posting the news on here .......
