**** Feb 2013 swap - Co-ordination ****

Postby LizG » Fri Jan 11, 2013 12:17 pm

This is a swap that will cost you nothing but a large second class stamp and an envelope measuring 16mmx23mm (the one that takes an A5 sheet of paper unfolded). All the contents must be taken from your crafty stash and the filled envelope must fulfill the requirements for large second class mail (under 100 grams and within the thickness of the Post Office template). There is no need to include the base card and envelope as part of the swap.

This swap has a theme of "Co-ordination" and the contents chosen to allow the recipient to make a minimum of one card. The kit should contain:
1. 3 pieces each of card and papers which can either be shades of the same colour or co-ordinating colours.
2. 3 stamped images (pencil the ink used on the back so recipient knows whether to use watercolour or markers
3. 3 greetings
4. As many other embellishments (brads, buttons, charms, lace, ribbon etc etc), toppers, diecut shapes, images, embossed card etc as long as they co-ordinate with the card and papers.

For this challenge you should make your card entirely from the contents of the kit you receive; there are no rules as to how much of your kit you use. You are only allowed to use your own base card, glue, sticky tape .... nothing else from your crafty stash to be used!!!

Kits should be sent out so it will be received by 5th of the month and the challenge is to make 1 card by the end of the month. Please post a picture of your card, when you have made it, on this thread.

Please reply to this thread by 25th Jan if you are interested in joining in and I will sort out names and let you know who you will be sending your kit to so you can PM them for their address.

Please look at the initial post to see who you are sending your swap parcel too.

I hope you enjoy the challenge. Although you are only asked to make one card completely from the swap contents, I wonder just how many other cards you can make, either completely or by using some of your own stash to go with it.
