That's a lovely card Kath.

Zentangle is described as yoga for the brain. It can also be called doodling or line weaving among other things. It is basically just doodling. There are hundreds of official zentangle patterns but you can do anything. It is becoming popular in the USA and in Australia, and is becoming known over here now. I love it, and you only really need a pad of paper , a pencil and a couple of pens. If anyone is interested, you can see loads of fantastic works of art if you google it. I have also joined a lovely forum.

Thanks Barbara. I am a zentangler without even knowing it :o
I doodle loads and have made cards for friends and family with doodles based round their initials etc. I also used to do Celtic knotwork drawings which I suppose are the original 'line-weaving' patterns - nothing new under the sun as they say :)
Love your doodles :great:

learn something new everyday - didn't know there was such a thing - thought it was just doodling :) I see that you can even buy kits.

Hope you don't mind me posting an old project.
