More Beginners guide to rubber stamping - any comments

Postby Carolyn » Mon May 04, 2009 2:30 pm

I have just done this page:

http://www.craftsbycarolyn.co.uk/projec ... colour.htm

I hope that it is of use to beginners - does anyone have any comments of things I should add?

I thought I would do one on just using versamark next time

Thanks for that Carolyn. Those how to pages are really usefull.

Since you ask..... 8)

Would it be possible to have a bit on what inks are good for what type of stamping?

How long you should use the ink gun to dry pigment inks?

How to clean your stamps and what with?

Just the odd question or two that I have thought of :roflmao:

Like a tops tips section maybe with in the stamping how to section??
You can never have a big enough stash.

for inks there are already a couple of pages:

http://craftsbycarolyn.co.uk/projectsho ... ss_ink.htm

cleaning stamps I have done this:

http://craftsbycarolyn.co.uk/projectsho ... stamps.htm

How long you should use the ink gun to dry pigment inks?
...not sure how to answer this question...I just give it a quick blast - til the shine goes. I don't do it very often

What does everyone else do?
