DREMEL VersaTip

Postby Carolyn » Sat Oct 16, 2010 7:09 pm

Sorry not a review - but couldn't decide where else to put about a 'craft gadget'. Maybe people could put links up to gadgets they have seen/got/wish for - there is so much out there it is hard to keep track.

I remember years ago I was doing stencil cutting, and also wanted a solder iron for something - this product certainly looks interesting

I have looked on this site before when I was wondering about a dremel...not that one.I was looking at the drill. It annoys me because there are no prices ....well I can't find any.

Just go carefull with any tool like this that you use gas fuel for. Like a lighter, if you don't use the right fuel (try to use a different brand or type of fuel) the tool can block up and not work properly.

I have one similar to this, i have the older version of this one but it does everything this one does...

The kids enjoy using the fine blow torch attatchment to make burn patterns on bamboo sticks, makes them look kind of tribal. :)

By the way, watch the blow torch, it burns bad!
