Die Cuts - Glue?

Postby Wight Witch » Wed Jan 26, 2011 9:46 pm

Just treated myself to some Cuttlebug Baby Face alphabets as I have no alphabets and hope they might help me find my 'mojo' again!

I have no idea what size they are, but I was wondering what the best glue would be, as I use roller tape for sticking paper to card, but this can make a sticky edge if you go over the edge of the paper (IYSWIM)
Also has anyone used cuttlebug dies on fabric? I have only had the nerve to use on paper and card!

Thank you for any advice

I use the fine Zig pens for all small bits and pieces.

I know people on the forum have used CB dies to cut felt so don't see why they wouldn't cut other fabric. If you were worried about fraying you could iron on interfacing first and if you wanted them to adhere to more fabric , you could use Bondaweb or similar.

I have used them on fabric and felt, very easy.

I use a glue pen on the alphabet but I know people have used double sided tape on the card before you cut the letters out.

I too cut felt, particularly flower shapes as they look good on cards.

Thanks girl, off to look for a zig pen!
I got some notepads yesterday too, which I cannot wait to alter, slowly the 'crafter' is coming back!
Thanks again :)

Hi

I tend to use normal PVa and a cocktail stick. If I put too much on I wipe it off with the side of the stickwhich spreads the glue out thinly at the same time. I have a glue pen too though, and my little Xyron for really fiddly things.
