Spray glue?

Postby Kath » Fri Jan 17, 2014 3:02 pm

I have some very fine dies. I think spray glue would be best to attach them to cards. Can anyone recommend any spray glue please?

I kind of think I need some better glue for the finer things I need to stick, is spray glue best?

I use very fine glue dots that are on sheets when I need to stick really fiddly bits. I bought it years ago and don't have the original packaging so I don't know who made it.

I don't know. That is why I am asking. however......2 alternatives have been suggested.

1. Put double sided tape on your card/paper before you cut it. you then have a ready made adhesive
2. Put some thin glue on a shiny surface and dip your die cut into it.

Either of these would work I think.

Even tiny dots would be too big for some bits of these cuts, Melis.

I tried the DST - it got a bit tangled up when I was pulling it off. I've got some glue which has a very fine tip - works a treat.

The lady who demonstrates Tonic on Create & Craft spread a pva glue onto the side of her hand & dabs the die cuts onto it :o seems to work though, she does recommend doing a patch test 1st to make sure you're not allergic to it

That was what I was doing with mine Sue, need to be organised to make sure you don't put your hand on anything before removing the glue :)

I should think an old cd case would do for the glue?

Which glue has a very fine tip, Net? That is what I would prefer if I could find one. Mine has quite a fine tip but I could do with one even finer!

I use the very fine sailor rolling ball glue pens. I used to sell the Zig ones but my wholesalers stopped stocking them.
