Craft room conversion

Postby Melis » Fri Sep 01, 2017 7:59 am

We have finally started on converting the garden room into an occasional bedroom and my craft room. There will be a small bathroom/utility area at one end. We already have a day bed and wardrobe. All of my craft stuff will finally have its own place. At the moment some of it is in the dining room, some in the spare bedroom and loads in boxes that have come out of the garden room and stacked in the conservatory.

We bought the bath, toilet and basin a couple of days ago. The plumber is here in two weeks to run the pipe work. The electrician is also coming to do the first fix.We need to batten out the room to secure the insulation onto it. Yesterday we managed to do one corner. Hopefully today we will get a better rhythm of working and get more finished. I am taking photographs so we can see our progress.

Run all the battening that we can. We can't do it all as we need to fix it in the corners then fix the other wall to create a right angle and the battening would be in the way.

Today I am going to have a sort out of my craft stuff. I want to make some craft packs up and sell them.

No. I'll see if I can watch it on catch up. What channel is it on?
