Hello everyone

Here are some new photos of items made for Kids Company

http://cardshopgifts.fotopic.net/c1535670.html

http://cardshopgifts.fotopic.net/c1607720.html

Great thanks to:

Steph and H (felt shapes)
Carolyn (little hearts)
Rosie - gingham
Ellen - stripy fabric (I think!)
Cazat - white and blue pocket fabric
Linda, Craft dancer - quilting fabric
RachelB - ribbon
LucyLou - mini beads

OBVIOUSLY the mini quilts haven't been pressed yet but I wanted to get them photographed before the rain comes back!!!

They are about 40 inches square and are going to a Kids Company primary school which has set up "cosy corners". The colour choice is from the coordinator (light blue, beige and grey!) as these colours are restful for stressed children.

Kindest wishes and thank you again all round
Nicki xxxx

Wow!! Nicki - you truly are so gifted and kind to give your time and talents like this.

And, from personal experience, I know of your talents and your kindness - my two cushions sit with pride in my lounge - a lovely reminder of your generosity.

Love Hazel

Gorgeous Nicki! Those kids are so lucky to have someone as generous as yourself.

I fell asleep in my girls bed the other night and she popped your cushion under my head lol, it was so comfy! :D

they are really pretty.

Now that I have seen the hearts I cn confirm that they were definitely a free gift from a magazine - I don't know if anyone else has something like that they will not use...if you have send them onto Nikki 8)

Oooooh! Nicki, you have been a very busy girl. :)

Such wonderful creations; how do you manage to keep coming up with these new decorative ideas?

Well done you.:great:

Carolyn - we need an emoticon of a trophy or rosette, so we can award prizes. I nominate Nicki for the first and biggest you can find.

Linda

Nothing to do with me really Linda - the material speaks for itself mostly! Imagine the conversations I have with my fabric cupboard ....... (just kidding - I am not so far gone yet!!!).

Happy Sunday everoyne and thank you for all your kind words of encouragement.

Love
Nicki xxxxxx
