this time is: The point of Rescue by Sophie Hannah
...have read quite a lot of it - the plot is interesting but somehow far too much information in it about the characters....
I also started to read
When will there be Good News by Kate Atkinson - will come back to it - but not too sure about it - it was a Richard & Judy's book club award - anyone else read it?

Strangely enough the Sophie Hannah book was recommended on another forum I belong to. I enjoyed it but agree there was at times too much description. There is also a continuing sub plot throughout the books relating to Simon and Charlie. I've just finished Little Face which is the first book so its starting to make more sense, now on to the second book which should explain why Charlie no longer works for the same team. Have read very mixed reviews regarding the fourth book.

I see - that makes sense now - she just goes into too much detail for me. But I am enjoying the plot atm, so hope I am not disappointed.
