I got most of Waterstones for Chrsitmas so I am working my way though that pile!! I've been reading the Shardlake series by C.J.Sansom and really enjoyed those - they are set in the court of Henry 8th, but they are based around a lawyer and the murderous scrapes he gets into by being involved in the Royal Court.
Then I went onto read 'No and Me' about a homeless girl in France and the impact she makes on different people's lives. Now I am reading 'The Crying Tree' which is a story about a boy's murder and the impact on his family over the follwoing years.
I would recommend all of them!!
Also the Time traveller's wife was a book I thoroughly enjoyed - definitely worth the effort.

How are you enjoying your Kindle, Carolyn? I've had a Sony reader for about 18 months and absolute love it.
I'm currently reading The Angel's Game by Carlos Ruiz Zafón.
Next up I have the following loaded into my reader:
- The Pillars of the Earth - Ken Follett - World Without End - Ken Follett - The House at Riverton - Kate Morton - Let the Great Word Spin - Colum McCann - The Redeemer - Jo Nesbo - The Snowman - Jo Nesbo
I was also given a hardback copy of A Tiny Bit Marvellous by Dawn French at Christmas, so should be sorted for the next few months.

liking the Kindle - which is why the book club book is just sitting on the side! I like the fact that it doesn't keep closing up like a book.

It's been in my pile for ages, Clare - I kept not wanting to rush into it because I was looking forward to it so much - I am loving it. I love The Shadow of the Wind too through, one of my favourite books ever.

I've not got to The Snowman yet, as I'm reading the whole series (well actually I believe the first 2 of 7 haven't been translated, or if they have they don't seem to be available here) in order. I've finished The Redbreast, Nemesis and The Devil's Star and just started on The Redeemer,
