I thought it was a bit contrived.

I mean fancy winning a first and second with your first lots of cakes!!!

Having been to some of these shows the standards of entry are usually very very high. I found it odd a cake which was burnt around the outside won first. :wst

have to agree Net - her marzipanning was terrible I don't understand why they found it necessary for her to win...we did say at the beginning bet she wins!

The other cakes were def better.

Enjoyed the idea of the program
