Did anyone watch this - have to say I enjoyed it - not a big fan of Miranda Hart - but thought she was great in this.

Yes, I have really enjoyed it. I bought the three books that were in the series through one of those workplace bookseller things - where they leave a stack of books and you can buy them cheap. Gave them to Mum as part of her birthday present.

I hope they go on to televise the other two books. Again, like the railway series, I find the social history fascinating.

Whilst they may have "cleaned" it all up, I was fascinated to see the way they delivered a breach baby in yesterday's episode.

Yes, I've been watching it - liked the first episode, but liked the second one even better - just right for a winter Sunday evening.

and just so right for the part - just as I imagined her when I read the books :-) Apparently the author picked her for the part - shame she didn't live to see it broadcast.
