Hi all, just wanted to pass on some info about this punch if anyone was thinking of getting it.
I just received mine through the post, and theres a couple of things to be aware of with it.
Firstly, the punched butterfly is not that big, so if you are after something large, i'd take a look at the size first.
Next, the black rubber thing that is inside the punch, that should not be removed. It's there for a reason. Something to do with the punch being a "dual punch" i think i'm correct in saying. Meaning that it not only punches the outline, but the bits inside the shape too.
If it doesn't punch great first time, give it a few punches. Mine was great after a dozen or so punches.
When this punch does it's stuff, you are left with a butterfly that will be attatched to the paper still by two tiny points. Very much like the pieces of an airfix model kit. Apparently this stops the delicate punched piece being crumpled in the punch mechanism.
You remove the butterfly from these by just gently pulling them off.
Sorry if i've taught anyone to suck eggs here, but it's more for those who have never bought one like this.
