Good morning all! I have a little project challenge for you today. These make super "token gifts" so with Christmas rapidly sneaking up on us, this might be a handy little project to have up your sleeve.

Image

The classic use for this little holder is to add two tea bags (the sort that come in their own sachet). You can also add one tea bag and one message card or even try changing the contents - how about two After Eight mints or those little flat squares of Green and Blacks choccie?

I use the instructions here to make my holder. The only thing I did differently was to turn it so that the ribbon is at the top. With tea bag inserts, the belly band holds it all together tightly enough that they won't drop out, even though they're facing downwards. If you're going to add something heavier (like the chocolate squares) you'd be better to stick to the "book spine" orientation, I think. If you want to know more about the supplies I used, you can see it all in this post on my blog.

I've used tea themed stamps for mine but anything goes - flowers, snowmen, butterflies - how about making a "get well soon" version? Have fun with it!

For each valid entry you make your name will be entered into a draw for a CBC CREW FABULOUS prize. While we love to see all your creations, please, to be fair to everyone, state if you are showing something you have made previously or done for some other challenge.

Entries can be uploaded to the gallery or linked from a hosting site. If you add your card to the gallery enter keyword CBCC106 and we'll be able to see the entries Here

Super idea Joanne, and I love your version. I don't know if I can find time to have a go at that in the next few weeks, but I will certainly keep the idea to hand for the new year.
