That settles it. I love that butterfly and will treat myself to a Cuttlebug as a pressie, instead of a holiday, in the summer. (Haven't time to use it just now, and have just bought a Netbook to use for my studies, so best to wait.)

The branches are McGill punch Pine 1"x1.5" . The butterfly cuts out fine now that I have the right sandwich. I clear the bits out of the die with my pokey tool and it just takes a couple of minutes. That part is a nuisance but the butterfly is so pretty I don't mind. The flower is cut with a 2" flower punch, scrunched up then opened out and stuck together with a brad. Scrunch each paper up again round the brad then open out one at a time. Very simple but so effective I think. (Use about 6/8 pieces)

Lots of super lilac creations, girls. Here's one I made yesterday (details on my blog) - not made exclusively for here, but it is lilac, so I thought I'd show it: x
