I too have made quite a lot of clip-on earrings as my mum, SIL and niece all love earrings but don't have their ears pierced. I converted 3 pairs for someone at my last craft fair and she got very excited when I said I could do this!

I have just made this necklace using paper beads from http://www.mzuribeads.com/ These are are nice and lightweight for summer wearing, and are fair-trade which gets my vote! (Impatiently waiting for the big chunky beads to come back in stock)

It's so bright today that my photo is over-exposed and I just don't have the patience to faff with cameras

I made some paper beads and made them into a bracelet for my grand-daughter. She loves it and wears it all the time!

I do remember making paper beads when I was at school. I don't think I'd want to make hundreds of them though - too fiddly for me
Carolyn - yes I just knot the thread, put on a blob of cement glue and hide it inside one of the big beads.
