I think it is about time we all had a go at making a bookmark, it can be anything you fancy from.... card, beads, knitted, woven, cross stitched - be as crafty as you like. I have made some and attached them to a card using clips. The greeting isn't stuck to the bookmark but I have put DS pads around the corner to keep it in place. We have been chatting here about attaching bookmarks to cards: viewtopic.php?f=54&t=53964and if you try searching there are ideas elsewhere on the forum Here are a few from me: - - Your creations can be uploaded to the gallery or linked from a hosting site - there is a seperate "Time to Create" section in the gallery. Enter keyword TTC008 and we'll be able to see the all of the creations here

Oh lovely bookmarks and a great challenge ...I will have to put this on my list of inspiration. In the past I made a card with an acetate pocket on the front, it was a way of putting detail in the bookmark but it not being covoered by a pocket if you see what I mean!

No worries - nice to see it - you can do another now Like the idea of an acetate pocket. i was going to do them with parchment/tracing paper - but like this idea better.

It's so long ago I can't remember. I must have done though, because I didn't have a tag die. They are plain because I made a lot. I didn't want anything too complicated.

I am impressed with your freehand cutting, looks like on some of them you have even done a shadow cut. The laminating must of taken time too. They are super I love everyones designs and ideas - I would of never have though of adding a bookmark to a card. Stroke of genius Carole

Here is my finished card/bookmark. I have used some sponges and alcohol inks to make 'rainbow' type backgrounds for the card/bookmark and then embossed the bookmark as well as the acetate pocket. Thank you Adele for the inspiration of the pocket The book mark looks silver but in reality it is not. I have used same papers as the likkle bird on the back of the book mark. .JPG) Carole
