At least i think this is what it is. My dad has accidentaly clicked something on his computer, and now when he clicks his nouse to activate a task, there are little footsteps instead of an eggtimer, plus you can hear a heartbeat sound. Theres also a "swooshing" kind of sound when he shuts the computer down, instead of the usual Windows shutdown sound.
I know these are just sound effects and nothing else, but i'm not sure how to change them.
I did go into Control Panel and then found some things in the mouse properties which appeared to chahnge these sounds, but i don't think it worked.
Any ideas?
Thanks,
Calv.

Did you do a restart? I have been known to set it all up, and forget to click the OK or apply, so it all disappears .. frustrating in the extreme!
