Today in hobbycraft I picked up a pack of small shrink plastic today, thinking of designing some stuff on the computer and printing it onto it to make into charms for jewellery. Only thing is I'd assumed you could print onto any shrink plastic, I've since been informed you need a special type? Is this the case or would I be ok printing on normal shrink plastic? Sorry if this is a really obvious question! Thanks!

Its a certain type to go through your printer. You can stamp on it though, use a permanent ink pad like Memories or Stazon.

Damn! I'll have to go back there today and see if they do the printer stuff and try and swap it. Cheers for the help.

I have a pack of Funstamps shrink plastic, it does go through the printer but doesn't say it is for printing on.

I tried to print on it and the ink all ran, someone has told me you have to have the special inkjet version, is that right?

I have found injet shrink paper but they are out of stock!
