Well aparently it has been changed for ages now but i thought i'd mention it incase anyone picked thier varnish by lid colour rather than looking at the label.
The EberhardFaber fimo gloss varnish used to come in the jars with the black lid. The matt varnish had a red lid and the waterbased, a blue lid.
Last week i ordered two jars of gloss varnish and thought i'd been sent the wrong order as the jars had red lids on. The company sent me an email today saying that the gloss jars have changed to red lids now. This has apparently been the case for about a year but thre are still a lot of old stock jars being sold.
Just thought i'd mention it incase you pick up a jar with a red lid thinking it's matt varnish, it could be gloss.
Why change the lid colour i don't know?
