I love her nails! Great video - I had never heard of the FP balls before you posted the other link yesterday.
Calv - the bead rollers can be used with Fimo

That's acrylic nails for you, nothing sticks to them! I know I can't craft with nails like that, they're also too thick, so you end up scrabbling around trying to pickup small things and need tweezers

I guess I am on my own here but I loathe nails like that. I know that is considered fashionable but I think they are ungainly and unnatural. How she crafts with them I can't imagine, I agree with Calvin.

I have one of those thingies that you put candles in to keep food warm on the table - I wonder if that would work?

No, it won't be hot enough Carolyn, you need to have something with a thermostat on it so that you can keep the temp constant. Years ago I tried with a pan over a gas hob, it was impossible, either too hot or too cool! Lakeland did have some griddles for sale, but they've gone now, but QVC have some:-

Just in case the link doesn't work, search for 'Pancake' and it'll bring up the griddle.
You'll be able to put a baking tin on top with water if you got for this type of griddle, so it works for both methods.
