Sorry to hear about your friend, Carole.

It will be a really poignant 'do' this year.
I hope you can imagine your friend there enjoying it with you in spirit.
That doesn't sound right but I hope you know what I mean.

'Tarting Queen' has done some really lovely tarting so I think she deserves the title - OK Em?

It has been kind of mixed feelings over the xmas and new year. With our friend passing away christmas eve and new years eve our neigbour died. It was so sad, he had been ill for some time. I think we all thought he would recover, sadly it wasn't to be.

Irene, It so sounds totally right. It will for sure be a very poignant event indeed. He was a lively soul, full of character and generous to a fault. We all have wonderful memories of how much he enjoyed Jools and the whole event 2 years ago.

Tarting queen is so apt :D Wow - those fabulous freindship books :angel:
