Anything can be used when altering items. Make sure you have a look at Carolyn's gorgeous goodies for items such as ribbons, brads, tags, fibres and much much more!
Think recycle - what are you putting in the bin which with a few crafty changes could be given a new lease of life? Think old clothes that may be thrown out, old key board keys, broken jewellery, dried flowers and leaves from the garden, leftover paint from decorating, wallpaper leftovers or samples, old office supplies, packaging, wrapping paper, magazines, newspapers to name but a few!
Keep an small box on your craft table for remnants from other projects as the smallest pieces of leftovers can be used in altered projects.
And don't forget that all your card making skills can be used when creating your altered art!
