12 x 12 paper store/file thing

This was a pressie I made for my mum

just thought as paper storage seem to be a 'problem for us all may inpsire YOU to have a go

was VERY easy its made from mountboard...

about a 14 inch square x 2

covered with 12 x 12 paper which I cut into 4 corner wise and covered each corner on both peices leaving a square in the middle for the words - or watever you fancy

the I made a gusset!!! errr I so HATE that word :o 14 inch x 2 inch strip and then folded-concertina style at 1/2 inched gaps...the 1st and last fold were stuck on the outside and the middle folds provide the expansion needed...this could be made bigger if you have LOADS of paper

the corners of the gusset flummoxed me......then I copied a paper folder I had so basically as the side and the bottom meet you cut surplus away and leave a gap just like on a one of these files

then I used my Crop o dile to punch holes for the handles

TIP if you GET THE HOLES RIGHT THE 1ST TIME you really won't need the torn paper round the handles :oops:

Another fairly simple idea, but I DIDN'T THINK IT UP!!!! I'm so glad you shared your idea - now I can get more organized in my corner of scrapbook supplies and related items.
