thankyou everyone for your lovely comments , oh yes i am hooked , an now i have been on beading websites looking at beads all day i have decided everyone will be getting handmade pressies as well as handmade cards this year hehe,

Totally goregous. Well done to you.
I do not think you can beat a handmade gift or card. If I bought a gift/card now for friends/family they would be I think pretty disappointed, they always comment on how nice it is to receive a personlised (sp?)handmade gift from me.
