I know its unusual for me to be posting in here 
I've made a couple of these tonight with chipboard coasters from Craftfairies-they are thank you/christmas pressies for moderators on our charity's forum. I got the little stationery bits in sainsburys-£2 a pack or 3 for 2 
The notebooks and the holes for the ribbon are made with the bind it all now I've conquered my fear of it!
