First try - Altered photo frame

Although I may not post much on here (a bit shy :oops:) I'm constantly filled with inspiration by all the fantastic things you guys are always making. I've been altering stuff for years but never really thought of it as 'art', I guess I wasn't giving it the credit it deserves!

Anyway, this is my first proper go, it was a friend's birthday and I wanted to make something else to go with the few other bits I'd bought her.

It's nothing special as it was quite last minute but had some photos of me, her and her sister from our recent holiday printed up and ended up with this:

(apologies for the poor quality as I took it on my phone).

The frame was £1 from Wilko which I painted with a mixture of purple tester pots and glitter paint (the pic doesn't show the sparkle).

As I say it's nowhere near as amazing as some things I've seen on here but she was quite chuffed with it :)
