Thanks for that Carolyn, what a nice little make.
She has the same pokey tool as me....a carpenters awl....much more comfy for pressing you palm against the round end when you need a bit of pressure.

The 99p store near me sells mini canvases. Try looking in a pound shop near you, they might have some.

I like what she did to the canvas. I've had a go at decorating canvases, but not with much success.
I've never heard of the medium she used, but assume that gesso would be a good substitute?
I've got some 4 x 4s in the cupboard - think I'll have another go at a canvas now that I've seen this.
