Do you have a link to their subscription info? Is the mag any good? (i.e. would my mum like a sub for Xmas??) :)

I don't know if it is any good - I have not bought it. Just saw it in our local shop this morning, and thought it was worth getting if you fancied the needles

The subscription details are here:

I bought this for Maddy yesterday, and by the evening she had knitted herself a gorgeous scarf with chunky wool.

The needles are 20mm, i got myself a set from the shop yesterday and they are great for the bigger knits.

I bought it today, cost £4.99 :o but liked the needles and the projects on the whole seem workable for a knitting dyslexic like me  Will let you know how I go on :)

I saw a knitting blog today and a lady had knitted scarf with a pair of 35's! :o That would be like a couple of chair legs would'nt it?

I was at the Knitting and Stitching Exhibition on Thursday and one of the stalls had some of those - they are huge - about 4 foot long and massive. i think the idea is to prop them on the floor as you sit and knit - but it all looked a bit too much like hard work. I prefer my nice 2mm pointy things (about as thick as a cocktail stick)

I'm using the 20mm needles that came with the Mag at the moment, only making a scarf aand using two strands of a cotton type "wool" it is coming along very fast and the scarf has a lovely lacy effect. when it is finished I am going to decorate it with seed beads sown in at random :) It's a pressie for new American d-in-l due to arrive here in mid December :)

Feb. issue out now. 5 DPN free with this months mag. I haven't managed yet to see this mag. Our little village newsagents doesn't sell it. Not looked at other stockists.
Liked the sound of the beaded scarf/hat set. I was lucky enough to receive a goregous beaded hand knitted mobile phone bag for Christmas -never used beads in knitting before so may hunt out the mag. to have a look at the idea.

Yvonne - How did the scarf go with the seed beads.
I had a few hand knitted goodies at Christmas. :D One being mobile phone bag and a goreogus, very cute stripey scarf with sparkly sequins added. :D
